Emmy was found on the side of the road on a searingly hot day in April of 2021. We managed to scoop her up into safety after she ran into traffic. After only a few days, her sweet personality blossomed and she spends much of her time 'helping' in the vegetable garden with no shortage of cuddles to give.
Trixie was found alongside the road with severe leg injuries. She was surrendered to us a few days after she was found, in 2008. She's been happily living out her retirement eating bugs and roaming around her enclosure, since!
Bella was found severely dehydrated in a barren field with a broken foot. We believe she was thrown outside and did not know how to survive on her own. After years of rehabilitation and consistent love, her favorite thing in the whole world is getting head scratches and snuggling... but stealing carrot tops from the garden is a top contender!
Amy was rescued in 2012, where she suffered from three broken ribs and severe PTSD. To this day, we are unsure of the exact circumstances she faced. With many years of patience and great love, her external and internal wounds faded, allowing her to live a very spoiled, care-free life.
She is always a bright source of joy and has endless kisses to give. Amy gently welcomes each new addition (and every visitor!) to our furry family. She was the sole motivation behind the creation of 80AS and my best supporter <3
