Who we are
80 Acre Sanctuary was formally established in May of 2020, when we received our 501(c)(3) non-profit organization status. We've been rescuing animals for many years prior to then, however! Animals from all walks of life have recovered and found safety in our sanctuary. We care for animals with special needs and disabilities and focus our energy on finding them permanent loving homes. Our team is entirely dedicated towards the happiness of all animals in our care. We appreciate our wonderful volunteers and hope that you, too, will consider supporting this amazing organization!
What we do
80 Acre Sanctuary actively rescues animals found on the streets, in abusive homing situations and we occasionally accept surrenders. We have a thorough process of health inspections, vet appointments and behavior assessments to ensure the safety of all residents in our sanctuary. Rescue animals will stay with us or a volunteer foster home, receiving continual medial treatments and care until they find their permanent forever family. 80AS also connects individuals to valuable resources to help in times of emergency. We are absolutely encourage the collaboration among other non-profits to achieve a common goal of protecting animals lives and well-being.
Our organization has a special focus on eliminating the root cause of animal cruelty through the promotion of education and awareness. Our donation guarantee ensures every cent given to our cause goes towards the care of the animals, and we can't thank you enough for your support.
Where we're headed
80AS's goal is to create a fully self-sustainable sanctuary for all animals in need. It is our ambitious goal to generate enough funding to have multiple branches of focus, all centered on improving the living situations for animals. We will do this by expanding our facility and our functions, by taking in even more long-term residents, especially larger farm animals that require specialized care. We would like to increase the number of animals we process for adoptions, on top of this. We feel that a massively important aspect of changing the future for animals is to increase the amount of education and information in circulation. It is our intent to reach more people concerning the pressing topics related to animal laws and how they can contribute to increase the legal protection provided to animals.
